Molecular building blocks are available at milligram to kilogram scales and include a range of aromatic, heterocyclic and fatty compounds. Heterocyclic compounds include pyridines, quinolines, and pyrrolidines, while aromatic compounds include benzene, naphthalene, and anthracene. Fatty compounds include cyclopentane, cyclohexane and bridged ring compounds.
